I passed my glucose test with flying colors today – iron levels are good too – only 11 weeks left. It has really flown by. I am working full time freelance now – so I get to do a lot more creative stuff. This is just wrapped up a beautiful christmas invite –

also I have been cooking a lot more – today I am making a slow cooker chicken – and cinnamon strussel muffins

my shower is this weekend but I am just taken back by the generosity of my out of town family that is sending gifts -

In the mail, I received – my stroller and car seat combo, swing, and high chair!

26 weeks

I have a been a little swamped – so I have been neglectful of my blog.

Everything is going great – I have made it to 26 weeks -
I also recently took pic of myself to show my progresss.
Also getting ready for child birthing classes – our baby will be here before you know it!

first kicks!

My husband was able to feel the first kicks the other day. (from the outside)

it was really cool (I have been feeling them for a while).

Right now I have been busy helping planning my shower – and registring – who knew babies need so much stuff!

I am trying to find eco friendly diapering options so far I am interested in the g diaper system

A Little Tree Frog…

It is Rosh Hashannah Eve today – but no apples growing our yard but we do have bananas! Our Banana tree is blossoming – I just noticed it this weekend – and when I went to go take a picture of my bananas – there was a little tree frog on it. so here is your pic of the day!

1 more week until we find out the gender of our baby!

we are very excited – I think it is a girl

but I could be wrong!

Wow how time flies -

it seems not that long ago we found out we were expecting – I am half way there today

I am starting to feel some movements – that is v. exciting and in 2 weeks we find out the gender.

How your baby’s growing:

Your baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He’s also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana. (For the first 20 weeks, when a baby’s legs are curled up against his torso and hard to measure, measurements are taken from the top of his head to his bottom — the “crown to rump” measurement. After 20 weeks, he’s measured from head to toe.)

He’s swallowing more these days, which is good practice for his digestive system. He’s also producing meconium, a black, sticky by-product of digestion. This gooey substance will accumulate in his bowels, and you’ll see it in his first soiled diaper (some babies pass meconium in the womb or during delivery).

it has become an addiction – and I have got other people hooked on it too….

over the past year – I have got some cool items – custom and hand made. I have bought some “bella bands” from a stay at home mom (so I can wear my pants a little longer before i need maternity ones), cool jewelry, custom gifts, arm warmers (my office is really cold! and more!

Recently I received a camera for my birthday/graduation from my mom – it is a sweet Nikon D100 with some extra toys on it – My mom got a new D200. – it is an awesome camera – but needed a little personalization so it would say me! Everyone knows i love love love the color pink – and I found the coolest pink on pink fabric strap at etsy store – priddy creations. Amy (also a photographer) custom sews for you a nice padded strap that really gives your camera a personal touch and the strap some comfort – check it out I got fabric choice #6.
